This time infinity. My parents never were okay with me doing it until I really proved to them I could be a capable human being with it. I worked much harder as I began to toke more so I could prove to them it didn't mess me up. In a way, it really made me become a better student. yaya for ganja!

I understand the diagram and the use of a DAC and and amp, is it possible to make it so I could plug an auxiliary cable in somewhere and not use my computer? I feel like I should just get a receiver..

Reading through this I've put together a small list that includes a speaker tower, a sub, speakers and a receiver:

Question about the receiver, if I was just going to use an auxiliary cable to music would I still need this receiver? Or would I be able to purchase some smaller thing (amp?) where I could connect the tower and sub and just use that? Another question about the towers, would I be able to get by with just a tower? Or would you recommend speakers instead? My setup would be in a bedroom which is pretty large. I understand the tower would prevent a better "surround sound" feel to it, but I don't know if I really need that.

10 inch sub, but I definitely wouldn't complain if it was bigger. If I was hooking it up to anything it would be my laptop or just plugging my iPod into it.
