Came here to say this. Have her switch to Arcane and her DPS will probably double. If you need a specific rotation let me know and I will look when I get home. I hit 70 right before d3 hit, and it was probably the most fun I've had leveling a class. Everything just... melts.

This pretty much hits the nail on the head for me. People in competitive environments pick on each other in any way they can, and if you stand out as a particular type, they will attack that type. Also the reason I don't use voice chat of any kind.
