I can't remember how many times I've read Leaves of Grass. Since my first time reading it in its entirety, I've made it a point to read it once a year. I get something new every single time.

This. I don't care what they're reading or how they're reading it. I'm just glad they're reading.

I was slipped drugs at a bar last night and raped in every way possible. Can someone who has been in the same position please talk to me? by scoobydoodyin AskReddit

Sorry, but there's huge difference between being the 50th most popular website in the U.S and being as you stated, "...the most popular website in the world."

Are you at work right now? Ask all of your co-workers if they like Reddit, then ask if they have a Facebook, then post your results here, I'll wait.

Overall, Reddit attracts some unique visitors, but the overwhelming majority of Redditors fall into a very specific demographic.

Most MST3K episodes, if not all, can be found here.

And where did you find a torrent? I've been looking for one too!

IWTL how to become a better judge of character. by seriouslywhatislovein IWantToLearn

If they have a firm opinion about everything, its generally a good idea to avoid these types of people.

Listen to how they speak of others when they're not around. If this person you just met usually speaks ill of their friends, they will treat you the same way.

Don't be cynical and be willing to take a chance on everyone. Intelligence is not everything.

Everyone, everyone, has a story to tell and everyone is a pocket of information from which you can learn something new.

I can agree with this sentiment. I get a sort of aesthetic pleasure from receiving Eucharist, but when it comes to sermons, I find that I get more a personal spiritual experience. More so than I ever get from being in a church apart from Sacramental observations.

I have read a couple of Renaissance plays, mystery/moral plays, and lais, but Marlowe's "Doctor Faustus" was my favorite. I really, really need to read Goethe's take on the Faustus legend, have you read it?

I completely agree with you on your favorite theme of Samson Agonistes. Have you read Milton's Prolusions from when he was a college student? It is simply brillant.

But yes, Shakespeare is wonderful, but he really does overshadow many of his contemporaries, especially Ben Jonson and Christopher Marlowe.

Have you ever been here? I have a feeling that you'll really enjoy this site, if you've never been there before.
