Jesus, seeing this pic brings back some terrible memories. I was outcast from my group of friends pretty hardcore in junior/high school for listening to these guys. I was always into "different" music and took flak (I liked wu-tang when everyone else liked Nirvana, Electronic when everyone like rock, ICP when everyone like Eminem, etc) and in hindsight my tastes turned out to be pretty good except for ICP.

It started on a camping trip with my family, where a friend who had come along with us played "Great Milenko" and it slowly got stuck in my head. Enough that I went through their whole back catalogue and found some stuff I liked, stuff I didn't. I liked the overall story (something about various gods that would judge in their own way, i.e. the great milenko, the jekyll brothers, etc). But the thing I liked most was they hyped that once their 6th album dropped something big would happen.

Eventually it was revealed in an interview that they were just making it up as they went along and maybe there would be 6 more albums or some shit. I felt like I had been taken for a fool. I lost out on some good friends (well maybe not so good after all) and some good times because of ICP.

So don't be so hard on "Juggalos", a lot of them are assholes who just want to see the world burn, but I just liked the music and theme, and got shit on for it.
