How do you clean your vinyl?

A solution of 3 parts distilled water to 1 part isopropyl alcohol (99% preferably), and 1 drop of regular enzyme dish soap for every liter or so(nothing with lotion or aloe added). Spread that out on the record, then rinse with distilled water once or twice, dry with a microfiber cloth.

A fully functional TA-1A for $50 is a good deal. Unless you are trying to drive some very big or very inefficient speakers, it should do you just fine.

As for tables, you might want to check eBay, although you can certainly find them at thrift stores if you are lucky.

I highly recommend Nakamichi gear, and the SR and TA line of receivers are some of the best values you can find. The SR series has slightly better build-quality, but the TAs have more power. I have an SR-3A and TA-2A myself. While the TA-1A does not have a Nelson Pass STASIS amp section, it should put out a very clean 35WPC and the SR and TA lines have outstanding phono stages.

I'm not especially familiar with the Pioneer, but it was produced in the mid-80s, generally considered to be past Pioneer's prime.

I would go with the Nak, I may be biased though. Might want to ask in /r/audiophile

Here's a tip...since you will invariably run into ragers, ignore and/or report them. Sadly, there are many players that go into games looking for every opportunity to flame, blame, and rage at their teammates. I am not sure how well the report feature is implemented at this point, but it is worth using.

OP gives excellent advice, but no matter how well you play you will still run in to determined ragers. Don't let them ruin your experience.

Get a pack of Mr. Clean Magic Erasers which can be found at nearly any grocery store. Then cut a sliver off one and use that to clean your stylus. Lots of people suggest putting the sliver below the stylus and lowering the needle, but I have found that gently raising the Magic Eraser to the stylus will remove any gunk like a magnet.

I find them all detestable and hope none of them get this big a payoff. They blindly bid on trash and act like there is some sort of skill involved when their trash is appraised at massively exaggerated values by paid appraisers. The integrated amplifier you specified already has a phono preamp, so a separate preamp is not necessary. If you are getting better bass response through the setup while playing a CD or audio file then the problem lies with the turntable or cartridge.
