I can't help but notice the political aspect of the post. Women in Iran are only obligated to wear a head scarf loosely around their neck and head. Besides that, what is this some gung hoe post about imperialism cloaked (no pun intendted) in a liberating women's bullshit redoric. because thirdly, there are ugly attractive cultures, but all are fated with the less attractive by cultural standards or "biological' factors. Point: yes it's a shame but hello get off your liberation high horse. Assume that there are better reasons to "liberate" a society than for the T&A. And consider the hypocracy in your own government, which has used the "saving" metaphor to justify national superiority. (i.e. invention of americas, Afghan war, WHICH NO ONE was on board with w/ Bush, so what the fuck? what the fuck?)
