It boggles my mind that half everyone I know opts to go into nursing. At the school I work at, half the parents pick up their kids in scrubs. I understand here it was consistent from childhood, but I just always think its rationalized as a "well off" living. That this is what someone should do to be content, not necessarily happy.

It's not so boggling that someone would want to be well off, but more so that they would subject themselves to comfortable over limitless.
