The solution to this is some marine mammals (dolphins ) will shut down half their brain to let it "sleep." Then switch. This way, they are still able to swim and evade predators.

This is true. I was a passenger in a rideshare I got from Mitfahr and we got a speeding ticket :( A different rideshare, I fell asleep and woke up to see we were going 190km/h.

EDIT: Tomorrow, I will be catching another rideshare! So we'll see how fast this person goes!

I worked with animals and you can also use this as environmental enrichment or use it as a feeder. Just slather some peanut butter or honey onto it, attach some stale leftover cereal or whatever.

HAHAHA Funny story. I bought 18 rolls of toilet paper (there was a 2-1 sale). EIGHTEEN. They were gone in 1.5 weeks. How that happened, I have no idea! So now I just keep a personal stock in my room. Eighteen rolls would have kept me good for over 4 months.

I only did that recently. I've only been living here a month and I'm moving in less than a month (short-let because I'm doing field work.). There wasn't any point making drama about it. Plus, everyone has busy schedules so I sometimes go days without seeing anyone. Since there's 4 of them, it was just easier to leave a note. It's been better since! Plus, I like my housemates, they're just a bit messy.

I know...I tried not taking out the trash or and doing their dishes...but there was literally nothing left and I had to clean things to cook. The trash was also just overflowing all over the floor.

Yes! I do my dishes and clear things away. I live with boys and they don't clean up after themselves! One day, I went crazy and cleaned everything and wiped it all down. My roommate's girlfriend says, "I'm so glad you live with a girl now!"

I'm a girl living with 4 guys...they pile up the trash until it's falling all over the floor and let both sides of the sink pile up. I've been taking out the trash and washing their dishes to prevent this but I'm really busy writing my dissertation! So I finally left them a note saying we need to start a garbage rotation and dishes need to get done.

Ah yes, and false summits as well. But view is well worth it at the top. I think my friends and I went in mid-late August in 2010--a much dryer and warmer summer than last year.

I had a similar issue with Mt. Pilchuck. Went with a friend and was unprepared for the amount of snow last summer! Luckily, some people had carved their way in snow so we followed. We definitely were off trail and there were some really sketchy bits but it worked out. Sadly, it was so cloudy and foggy we didn't get a view.
