I have that CamelBak. I haven't used it yet though. How do you like it?

He played with them at Jazz Fest so I wouldn't be surprised.

Which bands do you want to get the closest for?

Give me a few examples and I can give you an idea about when you need to get there.

WAE up front for Sleigh Bells last year? I'm worried Phantogram will end up the same way. by playcracktheskyin bonnaroo

They've certainly blown up, but I think Big Gigantic and Mimosa will keep the crowds from getting that ridiculous.

20 assists is still pretty impressive.

Great. Now, I have to start forgetting that again.

I started Sleigh Bells three people from the railing because I sat through Best Coast and The Drums. I was really confused why there was a mosh pit. I didn't find out until after the festival about how many people were at that show. At one point, about 20 people fell, and I thought we were going to get trampled. Thankfully, the good-natured people stopped and helped us. After the mosh had settled, I was back about 30 people and I could barely see, but that's just what comes with being 5'8".

It also doesn't help having a senior quarterback that still doesn't grasp the concept of an option.

I think I'm going to see White Denim and possibly Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. to get a good spot. I had to spend way too much effort trying to keep my balance in that Sleigh Bells mosh pit.

How to get a good spot in the audience? by SnoringLoraxin bonnaroo

My method to getting up front is simple. Follow groups of pretty girls to the front. Act like you know them. People move for them. You get to the front and usually end up with a group of girls in front of you. Even better when it's short girls so you can see.

In 2010, Avett Bros played against Mumford and Sons. I'm not sure why they do things like that.

Yea, I was in the very back of the crowd since I was more worried about getting a great spot for the Flaming Lips the previous set.

A question... by turtle_kmin bonnaroo

I've seen quite a few people do it. I'm sure they were successful.

This happened to me last year. I was walking through the crowd to get a decent view of Foo Fighters at the Hangout last year. Decided it wasn't worth it after a few songs. I decided to go to the line for the Pretty Lights/Big Gigantic late night set a little early to get a good spot. On my way back through the Foo Fighters crowd, a girl grabbed my head and put it in her boobs. I have a girlfriend so I just ran away. I wonder what that girl thought.

who's job it is to throw balls at a hitter

Just for clarity, the pitcher doesn't actually throw the ball at the hitter. Well, sometimes, they do. The pitcher generally aims for the strike zone.

That's some pretty expensive advice.

I had a Jewish guy call me an anti-Semite for suggesting that modern scholars believe that the Pyramids of ancient Egypt were built by paid Egyptian workers, not Jewish slaves. How many of you have ever been labelled as bigoted for stating something that's true? by [deleted]in AskReddit

[–]playcrackthesky 0 points1 point ago

It's certainly possible, but that's not the case. I don't feel everyone is out to get me. It's been four employees over three years. With turnover, that's about 60 employees. The vast majority of these have been black. Occasionally, people gets hired and simply doesn't want to work. I have to ask them multiple times to do their job, and a few have called me a racist for doing so. Most of my employees just do what they're asked without any problem. There's no bias I'm missing. If that were the case, the other black employees and my black GM probably would have gotten on to me about it. He hasn't. He understands people make false accusations.

She certainly would have a different account.

I see where you're coming from, but feel like I treat all of my employees equally, regardless of what I may feel about them. When I assign any employee a task, I say, "Employee's Name, will you various daily tasks, please?" And I thank them after doing it. I know they appreciate that. For clarity, my restaurant has 21 employees, including a five-person management team. Four are white and 17 are black. I'd guess 16 of the 17 black employees like me. The only one who doesn't has been written up at least once by each manager. I'm not sure why she's still employed, but that's ultimately the GM's decision.

TL;DR: No, I'm not racist.
