What are your biggest grammar pet peeves? Mine are when people put the quotation marks before the comma or period like "this", and using commas in place of periods.

I should have made it clearer that this only annoys me when it's in writing. I know that there are people who talk that way for a variety of linguistic reasons, for example their first language had a different system for conjugating the past tense. I could care less when it's spoken. But when it's written incorrectly ("I use to do that") it just bothers the heck out of me.

I hate it when people omit the "-ed" from past tense verbs in writing. For example, saying "Last week I talk to Frank when he stop by my house. He force me to do things I now regret. The next day I call the police."

I had this. I hated the name, so I called it Pimpin' Elbow (from slappin' too many ho's). The answer, unfortunately, was rest. Tendons heal SLOW. It was frustrating. Opening a door or even using a stapler triggered the pain. I had to cut out dead lifts, pull-ups and rowing, basically anything that involved pulling with the forearm. After about 10 months I was still aware of the problem and having lingering pain but I could do all activities.

Not bouncing. It FEELS like whats happening is I push off really hard with the legs and my ass goes back faster than the seat. Falling off the seat and onto the track = no fun. I will try everyone's suggestion. I definitely compress my legs until the seat touches my achilles. Didn't know that was bad.

I do it all the time. Let's say there's some skid marks. In order to get rid of them, you initiate a flush, which temporarily evacuates all of the water out of the bowl. During that brief moment when the bowl has no water, you use a large wad of toilet paper to wipe off the skid mark. Very easy.
