It's taking them a while though hasn't it? Their stadium is below 40,000 if I recall correctly and City sell out 48,000 consistently. If Spurs had such a huge fan base they'd have at least improved WHL or gotten a new stadium.

I think there's nothing wrong with the injection of money into any club. I don't mind Spurs spending at all, just like I don't mind that Chelsea did. I only get pissed when comments like "you can't buy history" when the absolute reality is, without spending, you will not win things - pure and simple.

In what way have they 'spent within their means'? Man City are a bigger club than Spurs, so surely they're more in their right to spend big than Spurs because as a club they're more well known around the world and in England, they have a bigger stadium and thus a bigger fan base. Spurs have spent a lot on players and you're forgetting this. Levy has put a lot of his own money down just like Mansour has for City so don't give me that shit.
