Smart Kid vs Guilty Cop by poopmailmanin videos

[–]naker_virus 0 points1 point ago

But all that is sort of beside the point, since this WAS NOT A RANDOM CHECK. This was pulling someone over incorrectly and then keeping them there and not answering the simple question of why he did it. Why call it something that it wasn't?

I understand that he was pulled over for a reason that turned out to be an incorrect reason. But even though he was pulled over for an incorrect reason, you might as well check his license while you are there. Wasting 30 seconds extra time on the off chance that this kid doesn't have a license or is an armed robber or something is worth it in the grand scheme of things in my opinion.

In this case, he didn't, deciding to bother the innocent citizen even more by his manner and demands.

How do you know the driver was innocent?

I don't think it is entirely possible to ascertain when the cop figured out the registration wasn't expired. I don't know exactly how the registration system works in America as I don't live there, however, many countries have a sticker on the windshield that indicates registration and the expiry date, so perhaps the cop only noticed he made a mistake when he glanced at the sticker on the windscreen? I'm not sure, but I don't think it really matters. Let's say that the cop didn't pull over the person because of an expired registration, a policeman is allowed to randomly pull over people to ensure that they are not breaking any traffic laws (for example, must have a license to drive). So when the kid asked, "Why am I being pulled over?", the policeman doesn't need a reason. The policeman could pull over the kid just because the policeman felt like it, that's part of it being "random".

I agree that it is reasonable for the kid to ask why he was pulled over, but the cop should have simply stated that he didn't need a reason rather than beat around the bush.

Yes, most drivers do have licenses and aren't armed robbers, but if we don't randomly check drivers, then the few drivers that don't have licenses and are armed robbers will more than likely get away with their crimes. It's the same principle that applies in an airport regarding random drug and explosive testing. You might say that what's the point of it considering most people are not druggies and not terrorists, but the point is that the random drug and explosive testing ensures that more criminals are caught.

It takes less than 30 seconds for the kid to present his license, and for the police officer to check it and return it. Hardly going to waste much more time. And if the kid didn't have a valid driver's license, would you still think it's a waste of time?

Maybe the cop figured that he was already pulled over so might as well ask for license while he is there. And then when the person refused to hand over the license that would raise suspicion even more. Legally he has the right to ask for the license, and I understand the kid just wants to assert what he believes was his right, but in this instance the kid is in the wrong.

You need a license to operate a vehicle. Cops can randomly pull people over to check that you have a license. Cops do not need to have a reason.

Why couldn't some sort of morse code system be used to communicate? For example, I make my coin tail, tail, head, head, head. Which would mean yours is the opposite of that. Couldn't this sort of system be used to communicate a message?

Ball Terminology: * Red = basic object ball that is red in color * Ball color = any ball that is not red in color

When there are still red balls on the table: 1. your 1st shot on every turn must be a red(any red ball is ok). 2. You must first pot a red to gain access to potting any ball color you wish. (the pocketed red shall remain in the pocket) 3. Before potting a ball color, you must 1st state what color you are taking, and if any other ball(colored or red) goes on your attempt to take your chosen ball color, it will be regarded as a foul. (the pocketed ball color shall be taken out of the pocket and returned to its original spot at the table) 4. This process is repeated until all red balls are pocketed. 5. In the event that a ball is missed, the cycle is renewed with the shooting player required to pot a red ball 1st.

When all red balls are gone: 1. balls are pocketed in this order - yellow, green, brown, blue, pink, black

Foul Rules: *** Cueball must make contact with object ball first otherwise, foul is committed( Penalty: 4pt or corresponding pt value of 1st ball hit, whichever is higher) 1. If the cueball does not hit anything on the table, the ahooter's opponent may choose to take the shot, pass, or ask the shooter to redo the shot(taking the white to its original place before the shot took place) 2. If the shooter commits a foul and the opponent has no clear path to an object ball, he may be allowed to take a freeball(any ball on the table). The freeball will take the pt of the original object ball. 3. other basic rules apply(e.g. cueball pocketed, accidentally nudging any ball on the table, etc)

Ball quantity, points and orig spot(looking from the side opposite the arch): = RED(15) - 1pt each (in a triangle formation just below the PINK) = YELLOW(1) - 2pt (left side of BROWN) = GREEN(1) - 3pt (right side of BROWN) = BROWN(1) - 4pt (midpoint of the line connecting the arch = BLUE(1) - 5pt (center of table) = PINK(1) - 6pt (above the reds) = BLACK(1) - 7pt (below the reds)

A game ends when: 1. A player resigns because there are not enough balls on the table to make up for the opponent's score; OR he does not have enough options to execute a good snooker to force the opponent into a foul. 2. All reds and ball colors are pocketed.

Winner: - The player with the most points at the end of the game wins!

Do you happen to have a link I could show him? I need some hard evidence to prove it to him otherwise he won't change his mind.

Do you happen to have a link that I could show him as proof? I don't think he would accept "Some one on the internet told me" as proof unfortunately.

I thought it was a theory, but my friend was convinced it was a law. How can I show him that it is a theory and not a law?

[–]naker_virus[S] 0 points1 point ago

True, but what would the majority do? Perhaps a lord of the flies type situation?

I personally think society would disintegrate and the general public would be stealing and raping and murdering, but wondering if there is any actual evidence to back this up.
