Yep, it's been around for over 10 years. I'd wager that we'll see the demise of flash before this gets fixed. (edit): on youtube you can join the html5 trial which should fix if at least for some of the videos

I've done this (sort of). It's a bit dirty but works great for most things (except video).

"Connect" your macbook with Synergy and Install the MS RDP client. The win box should be master, the mac slave. Then you need to patch you windows machine to allow multiple RDP connections, otherwise connecting via RDP logs you out. Then open a fullscreen RDP session. You can't move windows between monitors.

Unless you use unicode and put "\\?\" in front which will magically allow filename length of up to 32767. That's why afaik using MAX_PATH is discouraged. W32 API is fun!

sigh... I don't like the headline. It's unscientific, the climate can't die. The main problem it not that it's getting warmer or who caused it but the speed at which it happens. Plants need time to adopt, which they can. This is what it's been about for the past 20 years, to keep the temperature increase below a certain number. Needless to say, we're fucked. But the climate doesn't care...

in my opinion not particularly. maybe you notice more because you pay more attention to it? however there is a lot of glitch stuff in dubstep and other music the kids listen to these days, but that should no be confused with chip music.

anyway, the chip sounds are mostly used as just another synth + fx which makes them uninteresting to me. I find the raw "pure" chip tunes more charming.

If you use mp3, please use bitrates over 200 kbps. For aac/ogg about 192 should be enough.

windows 7 sometimes doesn't have stereo mix, thanks to drm required by hdmi drivers. instead of recording the audio and re-encoding it you should grab the encoded audio stream directly. there are a bunch of programs, browser addons and websites that can do that. google is your friend.

Because there is so much biased and misinterpreted information floating around. One year is not alot of time when you want to overhaul a country's energy supply. I suggest to check back in 5 years and see how good things work out.
