Yeah my own research has made me realize that the lack of a cheek weld and the metal frame constantly striking my shoulder won't be the best, not to mention the inability to use the side scope mount. I think I'll get a full stock I just have to figure out which one to get for $400-$600.

So if I get an AKMS with an underfolding stock, how would mounting an optic work. Googling around makes it seem the stock wouldn't fold all the way with a traditional AK pattern scope mount piece.

About 2,000 rounds went through each weapon, so they needed cleaning. They were definitely the easiest to clean though, which is part of why I'm so interested!
