Flash isn't supported in Eclair (Android 2.1) which is what the stock nook software is based on. Rooting and installing a newer rom should allow you to install flash, however B&N does plan on updating the device to a froyo based build with flash and an app market around the end of the month. At least according to information I received a few months ago.

You likely just need to clean your screen. Its overly sensitive to the oils on the screen and works fine after a cleaning... at least the Ines at the store do.

That said, the screen protector fixes the issue entirely.

Lmfao my grandfather has always been something of a shutter bug, and his camera was always out any time my cousins or I brought some young ladies along to our cabin. Our cabin is right on the lake, so of course bikinis, and grandpa had to take pictures - lots of them. Everyone just saw a harmless old man who likes to take pictures, but none of us ever saw any of those pictures in his photo albums or on his computer.
