Pro Life Logic by abaldwin360in atheism

This is garbage and unrelated to atheism. I don't know why a group which touts itself as being critical thinkers and open-minded so often resort to smears, straw men, and outright bigotry.

Right, but that has to do with self-righteousness. There's still the Great Commission...

Even disliking religion is unrelated to atheism. This subreddit is just a mutual admiration society.

I've found that this subreddit doesn't take kindly to critical thinking and charity towards others' views.

A ploy? Who is the other viable candidate? I'm lost here.

Okay, but the withdrawal plans were drawn up by Bush and agreed to for Iraq before Obama took office and the Obama administration pleaded to stay longer. Again, that's rhetoric--his actions are to keep us deeply entrenched there.

And then this gets downvoted. I was really surprised by that--it's so rude.

No, it's a legitimate question--I honestly have no idea why it's being downvoted.

Why is this a problem? For what it's worth, it's clearly marked as an op-ed.

Yes, that's a good point, but go ahead and compare what Obama's actual record has been and continues to be with what Romney says. Of course, Obama will attempt to frame issues in such a way as to appeal to left-wing base. So, comparing Obama's actual record with Romney's talking points (and reasonable inference from that) can you now give me one difference of any substance between them? The only one that immediately comes to mind is the latter's absurd claim that Russia poses a great threat to the United States and that one is fairly unlikely to result in any policy changes that I can see.
