Oh, and here's an interesting thread in r/Austria about the Austrian people.

I like Wörgl. I grew up just 30km west from Wörgl and I moved here in January 2008. What I like so much about this little town is that relaxed vibe you get. It doesn't feel as much as a town since it wasn't one until 1951. It started off as a village and you can see that. There are still some farm houses right in the busy center of Wörgl. Maybe it's just me, but I think it just feels a bit more relaxed and rural than your typical Tirolean town although it's just as busy as any other town, maybe even more so. But it still kind of has that villagey vibe to it while at the same time you've got all the advantages of modern civilisation. From where I live (right in the center) you've got almost everything you need within walking distance. Supermarkets (there are plenty in Wörgl), all kinds of stores, kebap/pizza places, bars/cafes, restaurants, a mall, two malls actually (not very big ones, though), bakeries, public transportation....

If you like outdoors activities you there's plenty you can do. There are hiking trails, biking trails, lakes, skiing in winter, climbing, camping ... no problem there. This is true for most parts of this country, of course, not just Wörgl.

For cuddling up inside we might wanna get to know each other a little better first :D but I can introduce you to my cats if you like.

Hi, I live in Wörgl. I don't know anything about moving to another country, but maybe I can help you.

If I was looking for an appartment in or near Wörgl I'd probably look at the ads in the papers or online here. Enter "Kufstein, Bezirk" into the "Ort oder ID-Suche" field, Vertragsart: Mietobjekt and set the max. rent you are willing to pay. Some villages in the direct vicinity of Wörgl are Kirchbichl, Bad Häring, Angath, Angerberg. If I were you, I'd just look the area up in google maps. You will also need this if you are not planning on owning a car while you live here. In your case this might also come in handy while looking for an appartment. Just look up how long a train ride or bus ride from certain villages/towns to Wörgl will take to see if they are be a good option.

I hope I could help you with this! If you have any further questions, just shoot me a PM.

Since you're asking for current favorite album, not of all time, I'm gonna go with "Brain Cycles" by Radio Moscow.

A growing body of evidence points to a concerted campaign to prepare Americans and the world for war against Iran. This is not idle speculation. It fits a pattern that repeatedly preceded previous hostilities. by Mind_Virusin worldpolitics

[–]karacho 0 points1 point ago

Who knows, if the US is ever going to invade Iran, but they sure as hell want to. They just haven't figured out a way to do it yet.

There are several issues in the case of Iran. One is simply that it is independent and independence is not tolerated. Sometimes it’s called successful defiance in the internal record. Take Cuba. A very large majority of the U.S. population is in favor of establishing diplomatic relations with Cuba and has been for a long time with some fluctuations. And even part of the business world is in favor of it too. But the government won’t allow it. It’s attributed to the Florida vote but I don’t think that’s much of an explanation. I think it has to do with a feature of world affairs that is insufficiently appreciated. International affairs is very much run like the mafia. The godfather does not accept disobedience, even from a small storekeeper who doesn’t pay his protection money. You have to have obedience otherwise the idea can spread that you don’t have to listen to the orders and it can spread to important places.

He then used the Reichstag fire decree and the Enabling Act in addition to violence and fear mongering in order to establish his dictatorship.

This is like the oldest trick in the book. I mean, he sure wasn't the first to become dictator in a republic.

I'm totally with you, man. I do both too. I like listening to whole albums, but I also love these sequences of totally unrelated genres, like Gorillaz - Ella Fitzgerald - Sepultura, for example (I think this one actually came on in my car recently).

Sometimes you know you're in the mood for one certain album, sometimes you're not. I totally trust my music library to play good music, no matter what.

But one thing is for fucking sure, when I listen to an album, I listen to it in the right order!

  1. You don't need a credit card, there's another way of paying without cash and I use it all the time. It's called "Bankomat Kasse" (Bankomat = ATM, Kasse = register). Most places have one (Supermarkets, stores, gas stations, more and more often fast food places like MacDonald's or Subway; hardly ever at regular restaurants). It's a small device at the cash register that works kind of like an ATM. You put your card in enter your PIN, press OK and the money for the bill is withdrawn directly from your account.
