The thing about this engine (the most impressive one in the last 30 years, in my opinion) is that it was the vision and conviction of Gordon Murray. He was so determined to make this happen, even when Honda (McLaren's F1 team partner back then) refused tu build this engine.

To me, this is even more impressive than the Veyron's 1001 bhp engine (Volkswagen has all the money in the world, the best engineers, plus all the components that were already developed for other models, same goes for post-2000 Lamborghinis)

This man made the world fastest car, at any cost (actual gold as a heat diffuser), and refused to use forced induction (I'm glad) and made an engine that produces +600bhp (naturally aspirated!) and a car that could do +230MPH. IN 1992!

I salute all of those who were involved in making this beautiful machine a reality.
