Acquire one of these: A Vitamix

My husband and I were given a 10-yr old model by one of our aunts. She joked that it would blend bark. It will blend anything to a pulp, quickly, and is easy to clean. If you can find one used, go for it. Our is really old and we've had no problems with it and use it daily.

Another suggestion is adding silk tofu to desserts/smoothies/things you'd want creamy. You can't taste it, it makes the drink creamy, and protein.

My husband and I went camping and on the drive home I saw a sign for a "Big Cedar Tree."

We stopped and hiked to the tree, which was a massive 500yr old tree, with a hollowed trunk. He finagled a way to trap me in the tree, had me look up while he pulled a ring out of his pocket, and proposed to me inside of there.

It was completely and utterly spontaneous, he had bought the ring the night before we left, and only 30min before the last jeweler nearby was going to close. He didn't really have a plan for where he was going to propose to me, but it worked out perfectly.

Yeah, there's plenty of recipes for white gravy on the net. I've found that I can use the leftover stick of butter from the biscuit recipe to make enough gravy for 2-3 people.

Generally you can fudge the ratio of everything a bit to get exactly what you want. The gravy making process is expedited by warming up the milk in the microwave before adding it to the pan.

It always tastes better if you make sausage in the pan, take the sausage off, and melt the butter in the sausage drippings. It's not like the meal was that healthy to begin with! :)

This recipe has always worked for me. I've managed to get my biscuitsngravy routine down to about 20min.

I use unsalted butter instead of shortening, 1.5tbs sugar, and 1.25tsp salt.
