Did you try changing the settings under start/programs/square enix/ffxiv beta/SE beta config? Especially the buffer. If it is set to double change it to resolution or half.

Pretty sure that's the weather gauge, the one to the left of that is the moon phase. In FFXI "darkness" weather made everything turn red/purple so that would be my guess.

It looks great. I really like the crafting and harvesting system and the way you can change jobs by changing equipment. The controlls are pretty bad though and I'm pretty disapointed in the sound. The music is great but the sound effects are pretty lame. Especially that mob that sounds like a slide whistle and the sound effects for spells. I heard they are never going to allow hardware mouse which would have fixed a big part of the control problems I think. Probably an anti-botting measure.

Acetone is one ingredient of the 2 needed to make a pretty dangerous, easy to make explosive. By pretty dangerous I mean if you pick it up off the table too quickly you and the table will no longer exist. Does this answer your question?
