Any tips on how to find employment?

can you move? aren't there lots of jobs for EEs? there was a news article about it recently. im a civil engineer in Florida and i'm way underpaid for my job, but i feel lucky to have it. i wouldn't want to have to try to find a job here. i'm not sure about the EE market.

There were private companies, some foreign, lining up to take responsibility for running and maintaining the rail system. This should have been a clue to the businessman / governor that it would be a fiscally viable enterprise. He stuck to his early decision without considering new information or options. This sees like a stubborn man's choice to me and I do not prefer this in my governor. His drug testing of welfare recipients would not save any medical insurance as those people are not insure by the state: (are they? ) and the program was shown to cost more than it was worth and it seems shady considering his background and profession.

I very much dislike his choice to not accept the high speed rail money. That would be a much needed solution to the ever increasing highway traffic between Tampa Orlando and Miami. And his drug testing ideas seem to only benefit his wife's business and do not save any money like he suggested it would. It just hampers the disadvantaged

i just didn't think that only the nexus didn't have a skins. i'm not a rom developer, but i'm pretty sure the G line from tmobile, starting with the G1 was just stock android with out changes.

my HTC G-2 came with very little skinning from T-mobile. no sense, no bloatware. I couldn't tell there was any skin on their build. Same with their LG G2x.

I was a design engineer for a civil engineering firm. Got laid off and took a job as a construction inspector. They gave me a laptop with a wireless card. That was a mistake. I spent sooooo much time reading the internets. (to my credit there is a LOT of down time as an inspector) Now I've got my job back at the engineering firm and had to block reddit so that i could try to get some work down. It's not blocked during lunchtime, obviously. I'm still working on getting my focus and attention back to where it was before I left, and I've been back over 3 months now.

I recently read a review that called Cerberus the best budget choice and mcaffie (spelling? Same as the computer virus software) as the over all best because it included virus protection. I currently use Cerberus.

i do. i'm a fairly calm rational driver. i've noticed myself getting a little bugged out by people who follow me a LOT closer than i am comfortable with, but i adjust my following distance and try to use my brakes more when i'm being followed to closely now. I usually engine brake a lot. i drive a manual obviously.

edit - i do, mind you, let most faster speeders past me if i can. i dislike people ridding my ass when there's obviously no where to go. for example - one lane traffic, two lanes full of cars, coming to a red light, etc.

It would normally be rather difficult to increase your average speed by 20%. You don't save significant time by speeding unless your trip is almost all highway. Most commutes are a lot more surface streets than long stretches of highway.

Being late is not a valid reason for going faster. You don't save significant amounts of time by casual speeding. Check the math. Just admit you like to drive faster and flaunt the rules, like I do. You are still allowed to complain, just know that saving time is really all in your head.

the colors should be bolder. at first i didn't like the little triangle / prism look at all. but after thinking about it for a sec it'd be fine if it was the same colors as the google.com logo colors, on a white background with the "Google PLAY" in black. i agree with you mandlar, those washed out colors suck.
