I took 4g of Pentasa a day, and for me, it helped me a lot. I personally had no side effects to the medication, and I didn't have to take any steroid medications.

Well for future reference for everyone, we recommend that the patients use contraceptive barriers while having sex and taking antibiotics. If anyone wants a list of drugs that will temporarily mess up estrogen here it is:

CYP450 is a major drug metabolism enzyme with several versions of it. Estrogen is under CYP3A4. It should be under substrates. Talk to your doctor about mixing "substrates" with drugs in the "inhibitor" or "inducer" column.
