Wow. You give me hope. I'm a 30 year smoker too. Minus the years from 28 to 30 years old when I cleared my lot and built my house. Then for some reason upon completion I went right back to it. Trying to get up the gumption to take it head on once again and for good.

Sometimes I am overwhelmed with the feeling that a giant asteroid is just about to plow into the earth and I wonder if I will have time to get to my wife and kids and hold their hands while waiting to die. Hoping it doesn't hurt too much.

It's what feeds my feelings of utter helplessness and despair. Leading to unhealthy and ineffective attempts at control.

I always found #1 to be interesting in a general sense. I went to U.S. public schools between the 70's and the 80's and it seemed like every year that we studied U.S. history it would start at the beginning but never reach contemporary times by the end of the school year. We would always run out of time somewhere between Woodrow Wilson and Lyndon Johnson.

My grandmother moved into my mom's house with dementia for her last years. It was very hard. A lot like taking care of a three year old. If you didn't watch her she would wander off and fall. She was always talking about "the baby" behind her chair and when asked what my name was she said "Albegon Mango". I remain Albegon to this day.

There are so many things wrong with this. Not the least of which is the danger to the man escorting the suspect. That was a seriously careless dicharge of a firearm. On the other hand it was mighty fine shot and probably harder to do than people think.

These are identical to my findings...

But honestly it's not the needles but the blood. a simple shot doesn't bother me too much. Especially if it's going on "behind" me. Intramuscular is a little creepy.

I have the same problem. I was told it is called a vasovegal response. Sometimes it's worse than others. It's mostly in a clinical setting for me when the blood is in a vial and purple. I always warn the nurse, I am not scared, carrying on a conversation etc. and wham, I am out for like 10 seconds. Blood pressure drops way down and everybody gets freaked out. I wish I knew what to do about it.

Look on the desk and floor behind the computer. Sometimes when you use compressed air the toolbars and icons can get dislodged and come right out of a rear vent.

Not common whatsoever. If somebody is doing something like this you have to wonder about the quality of the rest of the work.

On the other hand having the siding behind the ledger is better than nothing. Especially if the bolts are caulked or sealed in some way. Did they squash the siding at all?

I grew up watching Larry Bird and the 80's Celtics. In our house the Celtics were religion.

Other than that I personally never cared much for sports.(other than skiing!) Later on after I was married and starting a family I an d my sports hating wife never missed a Chicago playoff game.

He was amazing and I think we both actually cried when he was laying there holding that ball on Father's Day. For a few years we were sports fans.
