I think that the author is saying that the Flyers wouldn't get him by an offer sheet. He makes it sound like the only way that Stamkos would go to Philly is if Yzerman makes a deal to give them his rights before the Friday deadline. His reasoning is that if it gets to an offer sheet, the Lightning have another week to try to figure things out, during which the Flyers wouldn't be able to sign anyone because they would have the Stamkos contract hanging over their heads. The Flyers wouldn't let that happen.

I was thinking in their prime. Me and a friend were talking about the big three for the Heat and I started thinking that it wasn't a whole lot different than what Michael had with some of the teams that he was on. Michael had Scottie, who was an amazing player in his own right, and then his supporting cast was never really that great other than one or two more players.

Obviously, it is different in the end, because Michael stayed with one team and the players came in around him and the Heat built around three guys deciding to do it together. However, it looks to me that both teams have tons of talent at the top and then a bunch of role players and journeymen behind them.

Wow, that's exactly what I was thinking. About 17 seconds into the cat video, there is a jump cut between two of the gray cats jumps, and it made me instantly think of that cut in 2001 right before the Blue Danube Waltz starts.

Does your friend like the job? It seems like it would be a little depressing with the whole eviction thing. Not that it would stop me from working there, because if I don't get a job, I'll get one of those notices too.
