Yeah, we started with crate training from day 1, mostly because we want her to eventually sleep through the night with us and crate training seems to be the way to go to get that result. My hubby knows about training puppies so he's teaching me along the way, although i think i want to look into obedience classes etc for her. We're training her to go potty outside but we're having more accidents inside than anything else because she does nothing to alert us that she needs to go, she just does it. Unfortunately the breeder taught the puppies just to go when they need to, so we're trying to train that out of her. I will try the bell, although right now she has no access to the door that she will go out of, because we keep her in the kitchen behind a baby gate. It's just easier to clean up when she has an accident (that's not laziness, we live in rental housing and really dont want to pay to have all our carpets replaced when we move). We actually started her with a harness yesterday because it's pretty obvious that she really hates her collar. However the rules around here require her to wear an ID tag, so she may have to wear both just because the harness has nowhere to hang the tag.

Right now im just frustrated more than anything. I keep telling myself it's only been 2 weeks (almost), i cant expect miracles etc, but the 5 am starts (something else we're trying to train out, because there is no way im starting my day at 5 every day for the rest of my life!!), the constant pee and poop, the fact that we dont seem to be getting anywhere with potty training etc is really starting to get me down. Oh and my lovely brain decided to have a depressive episode so that's not helping lol
