I dream a lot, but this was probably the best, most uplifting dream I have ever had. by suntfrumosein Dreams

Sounds like what I've been seeking to explain for most of my life. Especially "I felt like we were heading towards something..something big." and "It was as if humanity, people as a whole, had finally come to a collective understanding. We had the answers, and there was no longer reason to fear.. or fight. People were all good. It was good. "

Is there any organism that can't perceive three dimensions? by RiseOttoin askscience

[–]draxus99 2 points3 points ago

I wonder if there is an organism that perceives only 1 dimension. Maybe they see survival as 'forward' and death as 'backward' and hence their only experience is moving forward.

Just had a massive realization about language and symbols, and what meditation and "flow" actually are. by burnjoin Psychonaut

[–]draxus99 2 points3 points ago

I think I had more of a "grasp" on my thoughts, and strange associations didn't happen automatically as much. Without "worded" thoughts, my brain tends to associate on overdrive, which in my case ended up with some unwanted thoughts and/or meanings that took over my observations.

Just had a massive realization about language and symbols, and what meditation and "flow" actually are. by burnjoin Psychonaut

[–]draxus99 4 points5 points ago

Very nice. I had a similar realization a couple of years ago, and I decided that replacing verbally spoken ideas (internal voice) would make thinking and realizing much more efficient. I think I don't really have an internal voice anymore, and it just seems like ideas flow through at a constant rather than being constantly divided up into spoken words.
