It's a corner projection in a white "art gallery" room. The sounds and visuals were designed entirely in Pure Data Vanilla. I used a Novation controller and did not need to look at the laptop screen while playing.

The visuals are native Pure Data plots used for graphing. The duration was unplanned and i stopped when my stamina and patience sort of ran out. There were around 5 or 6 algorithmic artefacts that were producing audio ranging from - infrasonic sine patterns - to - harsh grating saw tooth and white noise. It was kept loud to a nauseating level to make everyone feel awkward. The audience sat on the ground predominantly + the speakers were also placed on the floor .. so there was some direct connection achieved with the spine as well.

So yea - nearly 8 active knobs + 5 sliders on the- Novation controller - allowed me to just look at the projection that was getting generated and improvise on top. No pre recorded material was used - everything was generated live.

The main art show- for which this composition -was the opening act dealt with time, so i just wanted to create a situation using a literal view of a measurement standard.

Plan to put the code online once i tweak it a little bit more for a show in January. Planning to make it into a custom noise-synth to be used for live performances.
