At what point should I begin to do sets across on the DL on SS?

Rip says beginners don't need to do sets across. When do I start?

I assume you know the dangers of foraging mushrooms since you are analyzing the fungi to this degree, but for others reading this thread:

THIS SHIT WILL KILL YOU IF YOU MAKE ONE TINY MISTAKE

Seriously. Don't try it unless you are a mycologist.

Wearing this to a business casual event, any tips? by NoTengoDineroin malefashionadvice

Pants shouldn't be baggy around the crotch like that. You want smooth lines with few wrinkles. Shirt sleeves should show a bit past jacket sleeves. I would undo the jacket. Pulling at the button makes it look too small.

I can't remember most of what I did, but my biggest max ever was 205 bench, 405 squat. I lifted for a few years up until then. 165 lbs body weight, 5'10".

I stayed moderately active for these past 6 years and piddled around w/ pushups. Ran a good bit and did chin ups.

I weigh 175 now. When I first got back into lifting 1 month ago, I did 185 bench (which surprised me, didn't think I'd do that much), 125 press, 275 squat, and 315 deadlift. All 1 rep maxes.

Dropped back a bit to accomodate SS, and I've been adding 10 lbs per exercise per workout for 4.5 weeks now.

I am a big fan of this program.

Yes that's exactly what happened to me. It went by a lot quicker than I thought.

There are directions at the top. Do you have a specific question?

I know that feel, bro. But knowing the weight is increasing every single workout is a big ego boost and motivator to get into the gym.

10lbs for upper body, 10-15lbs for squat, 10-20lbs for deadlift. Once you fail, drop back half the jump on the following week. If you get it, start going up in smaller increments every week. If not, drop lower.

You need to read the book. Seriously. I can't summarize it.

I do the program, minus power cleans, plus pull ups and chinups.

Basically, I follow the logbook spreadsheet on the SS wiki for what exercises to do. I follow the books advice on how to do them and how much to increase the weights each set.

I'm having the same issue. Weight is fine, but it's like my legs are very different in strength.
