If you'd like to work with electronics ET is definitely the rate you'd want to pick. The college credits that you have should get you in as an E-3 right off the bat.

I'm loving my IT job. Came into the Navy as an E-4 because of an IT contact. Already living outside of the barracks and enjoying hawaii shore duty for my first command.

What types of work do you think you'd like? Technical? Intelligence? Maybe something with little more physical labor involved?

I told my recruiter that I was around people smoking weed when I was signing up and that I hadn't smoked any. He had a few "at home" drug tests at their office that I could have pee'd in he said if I was worried about it. Maybe your recruiter will have the same?
