My screensaver. Why isnt this a built in feature?

There's no setting to automatically using the cover of the book you're currently reading as your screensaver, which is what BurntSnow was implying. I'm pretty sure everyone here is aware you can download book covers and put them in your wallpapers folder for custom wallpapers.

I agree, but I don't understand how the bankers tricked people into loans they couldn't afford? Wouldn't the people need to be looking at housing and then go to the bank for a home loan in the first place? How often is a person going to be approached by a bank offering a home mortgage? I'm not trying to placate the banking elite, but the homeowners should have some degree of responsibility for taking on loans they couldn't afford.

A good friend of mine went skydiving for the first time last year. I'm not the daredevil type, but neither is he. He said it was the coolest thing he's ever done. I'd never considered doing it until he raved about it. It sucks to have unrealized dreams.

Point and click adventure games similar to the old King's Quest games, though more modern. The voice acting is very good. The guy playing Marty is obviously not Michael J. Fox, but he sounds like Marty, and they even got Christopher Lloyd to reprise Doc. So far I've only beaten the first one. I liked it quite a bit, though it was short. There are a total of five games, I think you can get them in a set (I bought them all together in a Steam sale).

It's hard to ascertain how much the Cuban revolution and subsequent government has worked out due to various conflicting sources. They have the highest doctor to patient ratio in the world, but they also suffer shortages of medical supplies. They are the only nation in the world that meets sustainable grow standards and they grow their food without fertilizers and pesticides, but at the same time I've read that they import 80% of their food.

Lately I've been playing Civilization V. It's awesome, but sadly there is a bug with the Intel HD3000 on the OS X version where the game just freezes after a random amount of turns (usually between 60-90). Before that I was playing Half-Life 2, the Back to the Future games, Machinarium, Portal 1 & 2, etc.

I thought him calling it a coup was disingenuous. It's correct in the definition, but linguistically it conjures an image of a small group of people taking over and subjugating the majority. I posted these really to have a discussion about it. I figured someone more knowledgeable than I am would speak up about any inaccuracies. I have a great deal of respect for Chomsky, but the layers of history he goes through when describing political movements or motivations makes it difficult for me to digest his rhetoric and argue against him.
