I'm glad that you got it, but I'm actually kind of disappointed with this... I had asked it to be delivered as a fragile package, but they must have missed that. The mask was 100% intact and not broken when I sent it to you...... Or maybe it was my lack of thinking to wrap it up better. In any case, my sincere apologies. Thanks for putting him back together though!

How about a mystery box from Japan? :)

The one thing about living in Japan that makes me uncomfortable by Tapeworm_fetusin japan

[–]beercan_dan 4 points5 points ago

You should know that making eye contact in Japan is not normal even for Japanese people. Of all the things you're worried about, don't let that be it. I've experienced this too, but man, it will only bother you if you let it. I work with Japanese people everyday and not the majority of them do what you describe. I've also lived here for 3 years, not just three months. Fact of the matter is, anywhere here in Japan, some people aren't comfortable around foreigners or have had bad experiences with them. On the other end of the spectrum, haven't you had someone come up and try to talk to you yet? young or old? In english or Japanese? This does happen to, and its awesome when it does.

Again, just don't let it get to you. It does not make the Japanese any less respectful of others.

ah. ok. You may be right. Idiots who love their country enough to piss on another country's tragedy wouldn't want to stray too far from their American stronghold kind of thing.

I probably wouldn't have been able to help myself if I was there. Most likely would have gotten my ass kicked, but I'd still give them as many bloody noses as I could.

be realistic. Some soldiers do get shore leave, and some travel distances. I met a whole bunch in Tokyo once for a concert, and have seen others around in different areas of Kansai. Not saying you're wrong, but you haven't thought it through.

Would you buy a lottery ticket with 99% odds of winning $1 million and 1% odds of dying? by thisisbrayin AskReddit

not saying you can't take the chance, but if you lost well. You'd never win again.

yeah, what's your point? If you had that kind of thinking, you could just walk into traffic, jump out of a plane with no parachute, or jump into a volcano and just think: meh, people die everyday. I guess I'm just trying to say there is something you can loose, and, well, that's everything when you die.

couldn't agree more. I'd hate to get all zombies up and find NO ONE. You'd look pretty stupid I'm sure.

3 is a definite must! It stands out on its own as a silent hill game AND as a connection to the original. Give it a go, and I can almost guarantee that you'll feel good that you did.
