It's sad because Ayesee put his word on the line defending their dedication when perhaps they weren't. Sometimes you just gotta call a spade a spade.

Ayesee did no such thing-- to wit, I said:

I know from experience how passionate and dedicated Power.net and 1437 happen to be as players, but I'm in no way involved in their day-to-day operations. So, in short, I've no reason to believe any of the rumors-peddled-as-fact concerning issues within our squad (formerly known as Captain Planet) have any baring on reality, and feel no more need to "deny" their existence than I would feel the need to "deny" the existence of a celestial unicorn living on the dark side of the moon. What has been asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

...and I still stand by it. At that time I had absolutely no reason to believe the rumors of "internal problems," and it isn't like the team has been falling apart leading up to 1437 leaving, or anything.

Again, the simple truth of the matter is that I serve as a manager within It's Gosu, but I do not manage teams or players. I have nothing to do with contracts, negotiations, practice scheduling, et cetera, nor have I ever claimed to have a major role in such operations. All I can do is call it how I see it-- and in the case of the aforementioned rumors, I'd seen absolutely nothing up to that point which would have lent them substance. Again, that which is asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
