My standard edition preorder of April 12th on amazon US still hasn't shipped, but it still estimates a delivery on the 15th, and on the product page it's still guaranteeing release day shipping if you order in the next 6 hours, so I'll hold out hope a little longer...

It actually seems that they create the folder as the first step of D3 installation. I downloaded the release client off Battle.net, and when I run the installer the first thing it does, it seems, is to set up Battle.net on my computer and replace this folder they have you delete. It may not overwrite it if it's already there, though.

My university, at least, doesn't require boxes or cable cards or anything like that. I got a USB tuner that does both standard and QAM signals and used it just fine with windows media center. Analog signals are dead over the air, but at least here they're still going on cable: the basic channels are analog and HD ones are QAM.

I didn't look at my watch, but I think it was about 10 minutes. And I did the lan play with strangers, though after that long standing in line together we weren't totally strangers, haha.

It was in the PC free play area: there was a big line at one side of it for playing D3, the new BF3 expansion, and Torchlight 2. They only had 6 computers running it though, so the line took forever. It was pretty great though! LAN play was fun and the areas I got to see looked really nice.

For your first question, you can try right-clicking on the page, selecting "Edit Site Preferences...", going to the Network tab and changing the Browser Identification setting around.

I personally think Opera Mail is a great email client, though I've only really used it with Gmail. It can be difficult to set up sometimes, as I guess you've found out, as most services don't provide instructions for setting it up. But if you can find the names of the incoming and outgoing servers, their port numbers and the type of authentication they use it should work once you put those settings into Opera Mail.

I hope you stick with Opera! It deserves more recognition than it gets.
