Wow, thank you for the awesome compliments and the great feedback. Here's what I've done so far.

Here's a link to two screen caps one with font size 16 and one with font size 17 (the size you saw) http://imgur.com/a/cvFbj#0

Kicked the links down a few pixels to vertically align them along the center axis.

And yeah, if I want to use DuckDuckGo I'm stuck with that search box, it's why I put the "powered by" explanation in there. I'm still up in the air about whether or not I'm going to keep it but I really like what they're doing and don't mind helping them get some exposure.

Thanks again for the feedback. I'm glad you liked the design. Hopefully you'll come back and check out the posts occasionally as well. :)

I'm not sure what you mean about the top nav and the rgba. I'm using a hex color for the red. Are you saying that's what is hard on the eyes?

I'll play around with the font. That's the only weight it comes in. I thought being a little bigger/heavier might make it easier to read.

It definitely shouldn't still be happening. I went in and put arial as the second font for the post titles.

Thank you. That's weird because I do have fallback fonts set. I have zero idea why you're seeing comic sans. I will take a look at it though.
