When I was about 5-6 I went to Disneyland or Disneyworld with my family and saw this cool Mickey Mouse watch where a soccer ball rotates around Mickey as the second hand. I thought it was so cool because the ball floated around him and couldnt figure out why. It was like a $50 watch and I wanted it so bad but my parents said no. Instead of wandering around the store looking around at the toys, I was glued to just watching the watch trying to figure out how it worked. We left and went to a ride and when we were in line my dad showed up and gave me a present. It was the watch.

I was so happy and felt so grateful that my dad was so nice to get me the watch. It ended up giving me a rash on my skin where I wore it since it was rubber or whatever and made my skin sweat, but I would try to wear it anyways for shorter periods and then take it off for a bit.

I ended up taking it off and putting it in my backpack one day and threw my books in and one time when I tossed by backpack it ended up destroying my watch. I felt devastated and so sad that my dad had bought me the watch and I had destroyed it by being dumb.

I cried a lot and told my mom to never tell my dad what I had done.

The way the soccer ball rotated around was just by printing the soccer ball on a see-through disk that rotated btw.
