'Lost Skeleton of Cadavra' is good for all ages - it might even be brilliant - and doesn't have gore, usually the reason people don't like horror movies. Classics like 'Dead of Night' still hold up well today. 'The Ring' and 'Blair Witch' they would also probably like. I agree with the other commenter about 'Shaun' also, though there is some gore.

Reddit has a multinational audience and content - that was written by a UK expert, as it says in the first paragraph.

I agree, I don't think defense attorneys need a stimulus package, but at least Verizon is getting pinched for being thieves.

I am going to be a mime for halloween, but am very attached to my beard, will it look bad if I don't shave? by iusuallyjustlurkin halloween

Surely there have been mimes with beards. It isn't like a mime can be more annoying with a beard, so go for it!

Seeing as you have such an awesome pumpkin for Halloween, would you consider entering it into the reddit pumpkin competition We have prizes and everything. by tastydirtsloverin halloween

I did, and I spent 10 hours on that sucker over the weekend but it was still downmodded immediately. Reddit is a tough crowd, even in a pumpkin carving contest. :-)

On reddit evolution right now is an ad for amazon music. Advertising's mysterious ways are not for the faint of heart.

Yet you didn't need a citation for John McCain saying it. How strange. http://www.senseaboutscience.org.uk/ has them both and anti-science kookery from Tom Cruise too.

Most of reddit is pretty open but the bigger subreddits have somewhat hostile moderators and delete a lot of stuff unless you know the ropes - CNET is a $200 million a year division of CBS but gets pummelled on reddit while a Wired author (same parent company) can sneeze on the screen and get upvoted.

A new subreddit may be the answer for you because you would pick the moderators.
