As someone who worked really hard with Critical Mass to get bike lanes painted, I want to run down bikers that ride on roads not designated, or are even unsafe, for bicycle riding.

I would like to work on a new City protocol; if you ride on a busy street that is not designated as bicycle sanctioned, you will be paying your own medical bills once hit by a driver who is found to be sober and in the right-of-way.

Division is not a bike lane, that is Clinton street, just south... Get on it!

What happens when you don't have those jobs around that anyone can do?

Unemployment rates rise and the middle class carry the burden of rising taxes because less people are now paying taxes because of unemployment. Crime rates rise becaus of desparite times in peoples lives. Social programs are streched to the limit because of the rise in resipiants, again, at the expense of those who are working. Due to the rise of taxation to keep a failing system running, the middle class loses its purchasing power. With the decline of purchasing power for the consumer the retail market and manufacturing sector lose money and have to cut more jobs... To which the vicious cycle then only progresses faster until total collapse. A bit amazing, specially since we were once the world leader in manufacturung!

It saddens me when people can't see this!
