I wonder if it has tiered data plans.

So, this happened...(x-post from r/tampabayrays) by newtothelytein baseball

That evening we had pizza and Mountain Dew paid for out of the register. I kicked butt at Counter Strike. My wife called to say my Mother in Law was not able to visit after all. It was the perfect day.

Great story! But, that was the best part.

What is your favorite episode of all time? by 089786in DunderMifflin

[–]Vect0r 5 points6 points ago

I came here to eat dinner and to party.

When Dwight shows up with the old lady (his old babysitter, IIRC) they cut to Pam and she goes "Awesome", I just die. My favorite episode by far!

So, when he walks out there with his pants hanging off his ass, it will be no big deal because 'then again, it's just his pants'?

It is all part of the uniform, wear it correctly, or don't wear it at all.

I don't give a shit what his stats are. If he wants to look and act like a thug, he can go to the NFL or the NBA. This 'thug mentality' is few and far between among MLB players, thank goodness, but he is a professional and he needs to look the part. If I went into work with my tie running down the side of my arm, my boss would send me the fuck home.

Edit: And don't give me the 'It makes runners on first think I am looking at them' bull shit, which, when questioned about his stupidity, was his relpy. NO PROFESSIONAL MLB PLAYER IS THAT DUMB

Can we at least all agree that Fernando Rodney needs to act like a professional and put his fucking hat on straight.

Thank you. Looks like it was a good game, I'll have to pull it up on MLB.tv here soon.

The first strike was close, could have gone either way. But, that second one he punched him out on was NOT EVEN CLOSE. The catcher had to reach up to get it! Unbelievable how some of these umps still manage to have a job.

Context?

I bought this autographed ball at an antique store for $29. Obviously, it's not from the World Series, but do you think the autograph is legit? No certificate of authenticity. by TrevorJordanin baseball

[–]Vect0r 3 points4 points ago

You can buy them with the cert already from PSA or JSA for around $50-$60, and the auto is a lot more centered and usually with the perfect game inscription. It will probably cost you another $40-$50 to get it authenticated by them, so you will already be into it for more than it's worth.

Just by eyeballing it, I would say no, it most likely isn't real. But, it will never hurt to hang onto it.

Nice guy Willie Mays... by emergdocin baseball

[–]Vect0r 1 point2 points ago

Many, many years ago, Willie was doing a signing locally. Me (being a brand new baby) was screaming my brains out while being held waiting in line. My mom, waiting in line to get a signed ball for my dad who was at work, got up to the front JUST as he was about to go on lunch break.

Even though she wasn't the next in line, Willie saw me screaming my ass off, he called her up front, signed her ball, and sent us both on our way (as I am told). Honestly, still one of my best experiences with a MLB player.

Tim Welke has been pretty awesome these past two weeks. by KevinDurdenin baseball

Glad I could provide half of the side-by-side! But seriously, human error is one thing, but what clown school do these MLB umps need to graduate from these days?

Spam in my notifications? by Vect0rin AndroidQuestions

Fantastic, it found a couple I never would have suspected! Uninstalled and noted for future 1 star marks. I am gonna give it a week or so, and see if i still get the same behavior. Thanks!

Spam in my notifications? by Vect0rin AndroidQuestions

I uninstalled them after receiving the first couple notifications. The notifications still appear from time to time. I never got any of these spam notifications before I installed those 2 apps. Any other thoughts?

Tom Powers: Minnesota Twins should revert to their thrifty ways - TwinCities.com by coreyfin minnesotatwins

[–]Vect0r 0 points1 point ago

They better re-think the price of tickets, beer, hot dogs, brats, pop corn, pop, burgers, parking, etc. I am not going to pay an arm and a leg to go see a 'budget' team. I realize opening the check book hasn't exactly panned out the way it should for the last couple years, but lower payroll == lower prices to go and see a game live. With the Pohlad's running things, this will never happen.

Annoying fan behind home plate, can someone please punch him? (5/4/12 @Seattle) by incredibleridiculousin minnesotatwins

[–]Vect0r 1 point2 points ago

I watched the first few innings, but started playing some games after the 3rd. I have been watching via At Bat, but one thing I never heard was, where was Gardenhose tonight? He was missing from the start IIRC, correct?

Todays quote, thought some Mets fans might get a laugh by mightbeyourdadin baseball

[–]Vect0r 5 points6 points ago

You can go ahead and replace that with an "Any regular scheduled Twins game."

FIRE Gardenhose and sign up Wally Backman right now. This is the kind of coach this team needs! by Vect0rin minnesotatwins

[–]Vect0r[S] -1 points0 points ago

You would rather have players dictate how the team is run? Instead of a manager that demands a certain level of performance from his players? You obviously haven't been a Twins fan for very long....

Ok, so then everybody always takes the elevator then?

Correct. Stanley takes the stairs in the weight loss episode, but other than that everyone always takes the elevator. Even when Pam was going into labor, Stanley (and I think Phyllis) have them hold up the elevator so they don't have to take the stairs down.

Also, Here is a little more accurate layout. A few things fixed.

Every episode where characters are in the stairwell talking, that's where they are. The first specific example that comes to mind is The Fire Drill cold open. The small landing is where Dwight lights the stuff in the garbage can on fire. That leads over to the stairwell (which probably just leads down into the main entry of the building.) Cold Open link
