What are some boyfriend/girlfriend/relationship hacks? Example from my girlfriend inside. (Potentially NSFW?) by cjknjknin AskReddit

Her reaction should be fine if you can prove to her that it happens when you are at the tower at work. She would mostly be concerned if you had been unfaithful and in another area from your work.

Yes being fired for this type of thing is not in line with current employment law, outside of a controlled-area-type-workplace where it would be in the contract. But as tacopaladin has suggested, if you feel this is unwarranted and violating, then definitely make it known to your superiors. The most efficient way to remove this problem is getting them to see your position and calling an end to it. Edit: Typo

Obviously! Genesis 1:4 "God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness". If the light was "good" then obviously it didn't give cancer before original sin. Duh. Checkmate Atheists.

I've always dreamed of an MMO set in a scifi setting with multiple levels of gameplay. You can do FPS as a soldier of any variety. Or you can be a commander who makes calls and send in your soldiers in to battle (like a Strategy). You can fly a spaceship or any variety. You can battle in space, battle on planets, and basically go around everywhere killing npcs or other armies, taking over planets, extracting resources, building technology and forming cartels. Basically MMO/FPS/Strategy

I was at a family friendly BBQ event at someone's house. And this kid, he must have been less then 5 years old, was running at full speed into the house. He didn't realise, but the glass door was shut, he just couldn't see it. A few of us began to shout something as he ran straight into the glass door. SMASH! He ran clean through it. It wasn't new glass either, that shatters, it broke apart in huge shards, some of them falling from above, longer then 20 inches. But the kid didn't have a scratch on him. Nothing. Nada. Zip. He just ran through, got a bump to the face, and fell forward, clear from the falling glass. Simply amazing and gut-wrenching.

I made this because I was sick of Christians telling me that my self-derived purpose and meaning to life was not as valuable as their own. I see no difference in being an atheist who thinks "What purpose and meaning do I want my life to have?" and a Christian who thinks "What purpose and meaning does God want my life to have?". Any answer they come to is one that popped into their head, albeit they think it came to them from God. For Christians to act as if their meaning and purpose is handed to them on a silver spoon is absurd. They wrestle with their purpose no more or less than anyone else, they just think that theirs is divinely inspired. As evidence of Christians seeking purpose, I like to point out that Christian books like The Purpose Driven Life have sold over 30 million copies.

Emotional, heart-felt anecdotes. Gets em everytime.
But honestly, this story feeds into a few Christian ideals on how they see themselves. First, they feel persecuted and oppressed, even though they are a majority and something like this is unlikely in the military. Secondly, the persecutors are crying and wanting to be saved by them. This almost never happens. They have been told forever to try and spread the good word and convert people, but most will never do it once, except for their own children. Its something they long to do. Also, the persecutors are saved, which prevents them from going to hell. I know Christians often condemn and tell people they are going to hell, but they would honestly prefer people cry and become converted and saved. And lastly, God actually performs a miracle! None of them have ever seen a real miracle. Well, not one they could prove to anyone. They all long for God to prove himself to them and others around them, giving them affirmation for their wacko beliefs. Its something they long for. This story just hits all the right heartstrings for them.
