A city filled with bars and young professionals trying to get laid constantly. Not to mention it's a 10 minute train ride to downtown NYC. It's wonderful.

The show is made in Seaside Heights/Seaside Park. They've visited Point, but 99% of the show is in Seaside.

I'm from Edison, probably a little closer to 35 miles from NYC. Commuter town surrounded by commuter towns so needless to say, I knew way too many people affected by that day.

I live in New Jersey, 25 miles from NYC. It was my second day of my sophomore year of high school watching it in English class when a classmate walks in the room and looks at the TV the moment the first tower fell. She immediately realized her father was on the 92nd floor of that building. I won't forget the look on her face for the rest of my life.

If you can get a cheap GoTo Meeting account, that might be a possibility. No charge to be a participant, but there's a fee to hold meetings I believe.

First time playing fantasy football- How did I do? by Redditor_Pleasein fantasyfootball

That's very impressive. Assuming you went McCoy/Jackson/Jennings, the people in your league are nuts for letting Jennings and/or Bowe drop to the 4th/5th round. Good work snatching them up.

I usually draft my D/ST after I've drafted my entire starting lineup and one or two bench players.

NEVER take a kicker before the last round, if at all. Handcuff your RBs and get your super sleeper with the last 2 rounds.

Haha I spend far too much time researching this stuff I guess.

I would be far too paranoid that someone would take Rodgers at the turn, so I'd take him at 12 then hope one of those 6 I mentioned earlier drop to me at 17th overall.

From what I can tell, you can either get like MJD/McFadden/Mendenhall or Andre Johnson/Roddy White/Calvin Johnson. I personally like to take RBs whenever possible, but I would have no problem getting any of those WRs with that pick.

I'm a strong advocate for getting a Top 6 QB (Vick, Rodgers, Brady, Manning, Brees, Rivers). I've never been in a league where Joe Flacco or Matthew Stafford win you the 'ship. Don't be afraid to take a QB with that 17th overall pick. You'll be getting a top-tier QB instead of a 2nd tier RB.

So strongly consider taking a QB in the 1st or 2nd round and just grab the highest value players that slip through the cracks and land in your lap after that.

I can see a nice 550 yard, 2 TD season out of him. Tolbert steals TDs, Sproles steals receptions. I'd stay away.

How would you rank the QB's this year? by fgullinburstiin fantasyfootball

No one wins Fantasy Football championships with Joe Flacco or Matthew Stafford. Get a top-flight QB and you have an anchor for the whole season. Guys like Hillis, Lloyd, Mike Williams (2) will come around and fill out your roster, but high-producing QBs are much tougher to come by.

Get your QB before you get your 3rd RB.

Didn't throw for 300 yards once last season, only had more than 2 TDs in a game once. He did have over 300 yards rushing, but no rushing TDs. Maybe they loosen the leash a bit this season, but I need a bit more certainty from my QB.

ELI5 how credit scores are calculated, who cares about them, and why by NoodleDrivein explainlikeimfive

This is true, but only if there are a lot of inquiries in a relatively short amount of time.

Let's say you apply for 3 credit cards, a student loan, and a mortgage all at once. Each time you apply for any type of loan, the person who is thinking about giving the loan will always check your credit. So in this instance, there are 5 'inquiries' on your credit report that show up.

Now let's say you want to buy a car and go to the bank for a loan. They check your credit and see that you have 5 other people looking to see if you deserve a loan. They assume that you are looking to get other loans and think "noodledrive has to pay 5 other people besides me." They might think you are taking on too much debt and therefore, you are a risky person to give money to.

That said, if you have the choice ALWAYS pull your own credit. These are considered "soft" inquiries and don't affect your credit score. When you apply for credit from a bank or lending agency, it is a "hard" inquiry and counts towards your score.

EDIT: Free Annual Credit Report Everyone is entitled to one free yearly credit report from each of the 3 credit reporting agencies through this website. They don't give you a score but it will tell you if any major problems are being reported on your credit. Credit is vitally important to being an adult, make sure you're on top of it.

Credit scores are your reputation when dealing with money.

If you have no credit, the banks and people who lend you money don't know if you are good or bad at paying people back, so they usually don't like to give you money.

When you get a loan from someone and always pay them back, they tell the banks "hey, this guy is really good at paying people back" and the banks are more willing to give you money when you need it. This will cause your credit score to go up.

If someone gives you money and you don't pay them back, they tell the banks, "don't give money to him, he's not good at paying people back." This will cause your credit score to go down. Then the banks won't give you money when you need it.

When you want to buy a house/buy a car/get a loan, the banks will go to everyone whose ever given you a loan before and ask them, "is he good or bad at paying people back?" If a majority of the people say, "yes he's good at paying people back" then the bank knows it's safe to give you money and they know you'll pay them back. If they say, "no, I gave him money and he didn't pay me back, don't give him money," then the bank won't give you money because other people tell them not to.
