Hey bro, I'm sort of in the same situation you're in. Just graduated High School and am waiting to move down to college. I Had a full time job this summer but just recently quit to have some time off before I move. But I kinda noticed that now I never have anything to do or look forward to, just to move out. I try hitting the gym every day too. But I noticed I really haven't been getting as many women as I used to attract.. What could this be? Well Honest to God it's because whenever a decent looking girl looks my way I can never think of anything to say to her.. So it may just be your nerves man. I'm starting to get out more though and commute with more people (building confidence) and it's helping me a little to communicate with girls.. But you just have to think positive when talking to a girl you like. Think to yourself (ok I'm doing good, she's interested.) Also I've been keeping my texts with girls a lot shorter, and sort of open so that they can fill in the blanks in their head with positives without me texting too much and ending up ruining my chances... So what I'm saying is, just be yourself man, feel confident like every girl wants your dick, even if you get rejected somewhere oh well she was probably a cunt anyway.
