Will using other substances impair my ability to reboot? by MutantCrowin NoFap

Ah I see, thanks for the input!

Just curious though have you experienced any of the things like improved confidence or productivity or anything? If you have made it that far that is... Furthest I got was 10 days a long time ago and I thought my dick was going to explode

If you're so good how come you always lose lane when youre on my team? Try to patronize your teammates less please.

So I want to rise the ELO ladder. Tips? by OzChaelzin leagueoflegends

I honestly think duo q-ing lowers your chances of success unless you are both bot lane. There have been red posts about how the average elo of your team is usually lowered when you duo q (or put up against another duo). I personally have had much more success solo.

A thought on Jungling in the 1200-1600 by zebrawhootin leagueoflegends

As a 2.1k player, I agree. It is much harder to carry a game from the jungle than any laner. Top, mid, and AD carry all have a much higher influence on the game than you do.

  1. People won't always take your advice, there is a lot of bad advice out there that you have to caution against.

  2. You can tell them what they did wrong, there is nothing wrong with that, but you have to choose your words carefully.

  3. You can tell two people the same piece of advice, at yet only one will actually get better. You giving them advice does not necessarily make them better, and those that strive to get better will improve whether you tell them or not.

I used to feel the same way, I totally understand. But my understanding for victory has changed. When I would have previously tried to surrender every 2 minutes, I now see that it is very possible to win. And if you play enough games, you will too =)

Haha thanks, I think I am just sharing what many people have already learned, regardless of elo.

I'm a big fan of your shoutcasting! I was thinking of entering that CLG shoutcasting competition but the details haven't come out yet. And I have to practice doing it a lot more =P

It depends on everyone's position. Sometimes Irelia can get away with jumping to the carry and doing significant damage while still staying alive long enough to be useful. Sometimes Udyr can rambo in and not care about anything. But at the same time Irelia could jump to the carry, get blown up, and then lose the fight before her team even gets there. It depends on items, who is fed, which ADs you have on each team, etc. I would not say that you HAVE to dive by any means.

For example, if I'm Skarner, diving for the carry is not going to work. I have to run past a lot of people, and my speed takes me pretty far from the rest of the team, whether we Shurelya or not. So I'll slow down all the bruisers first, and if the carry is getting free shots I'll run after her.

And I know what you mean about premades, we got to rank 1 with a 1500 on our team =). He beat so many plat players in lane.

Lee Sin is a great choice, also tough to play well. He does fall off but he's still a very popular pick and for good reason.

Udyr solo top is also very strong, sooner or later he will become an unstoppable beast that just does not care about anything.

I prefer Udyr/Shyvana/Skarner in the jungle usually. They fit my style well and it's fun to clear camps fast.

Solo-top I like Irelia, Kennen, and Trundle. Top is probably my weakest role atm. But good picks would include Nidalee, Rumble, WW, GP, Tryn, and Riven, to name a few.

I wouldn't insult him back ever, and I would try very hard to reason with him and convince him that we can still win the game. Throughout the entire game I would encourage him when he makes a nice play, and continue to convince the rest of the team that we will win.

If he does something drastic like run into enemy towers over and over, try your best to carry, sometimes if you start to win he will stop trolling.

At the end of the game, regardless if you win or lose, report him and describe why in the comment box. Wait 3-5 mins in case he re-queues immediately, and play again.

Not getting heated is very hard to do, and I still do it from time to time. But I'm getting better at staying calm, and likewise I haven't had a crazy long losing streak in awhile. Just remember there will be a time where the other team has someone like that on their team, and you will win because of it. You might not know, because you don't see their team chat, but it will happen. Don't give up!

I've only played it in 2 normals and both games people trolled very hard so it wasn't the best test. But I was able to farm very well and didn't have problems in lane since she still has true damage on her Q. The theory is that she is almost always in a good position with ult, and her stun is useful no matter what. Similiarly to Kennen, she has very high base attack speed and AD.

M5 Genja has used it multiple times in scrims and he brought everyone AD Kennen. So it can't be that bad =P

I wrote down a short list of champions, then realized they don't carry very well. So maybe there really isn't a best champion to use.

In the end, you will probably be best with the champion you have the most fun with. And if you're the best with them, you'll have the best chance of raising elo with them. At least that is what I believe.

What do you mean?

11 things I have learned after over 1200 Ranked games by MutantCrowin leagueoflegends

[–]MutantCrow[S] 0 points1 point ago

Hm okay. I think most of the advice someone could give that hasn't been re-iterated is very specific, and often champion specific. I mean I've definitely learned more than 11 things, and I'm sure everyone else here has too. But I thought these points were the most relevant to everyone rather than just Gangplank mains or Ahri mains, or whatever. But thanks for the advice I will keep that in mind.

Good question. I usually call what I want at the start. It gives you a higher probability of getting it if you say it early. So if you main AD carry, I would say, "I'll ad" or "I will play ad carry" at the start of champ select. But if you're a low pick and someone higher up takes it, then it's np and just get something else.

If I am forced into a role I'm really bad at, I just do my best to not feed. If I just farm well and play safe I can sometimes get away with a champion I'm not so good with.
