I definitely found the draft to be much more fun than sealed. I am a little biased (draft is my favorite format) but I just felt like the sealed decks I played/looked at were all very bomb dependent (even more so than sealed normally is).

IIRC illusions are no longer counted for Echo Slam purposes. It also only partly solves the problem; if your illusion dies, a new illusion will be made if you walk through the wall again.
