Fair points. I understand what you're saying about the constitution, but what was legislated in didn't give them rights, it said that no one could take those rights away for those specific people, which (I think) is a bit of a difference.

Benefits on the other hand, I disagree with. What would stop things from remaining at the point in time where there were no unions to fight for benefits and working conditions sucked. Try to create those unions, what's to stop it from being Next Man Up? I'm not saying that I necessarily agree with everything unions do today, but without some of the legislation that has been pushed forward by these organizations in the past, what would have changed?

The Minimum wage thing isn't really as clear cut as that. There is some debate about how much affect minimum wage has on unemployment. The minimum wage was raised in NJ in 1992 and employment went up, for example, compared to the employment of Pa. which had its minimum wage remain constant. Not saying that you're wrong, but I think it's certainly a debatable subject, but still legislation worth keeping.

I find myself heavily turned off to this subreddit sometimes by the elitist attitude it often takes. If you aren't 1800+, you don't have a valid opinion in most cases. And in fact you will be condescended to regarding that fact, probably multiple times. Instead of just calling someone bad because they're not in the top 5% of all players high enough to have their ranking show up, why not give constructive feedback. Instead of immediately saying "LOL at your elo, it doesn't matter", explain what they're actually looking to find out the answer to, but then say "But XXX can only really starts to make a big difference once you've perfected farming and other things like that."
