I think the performance pictures are better but there should probably be a subreddit for gear.

Honestly, I'm not sure why everyone's angry. The top ten is pretty good and it's clear they're focusing on modern/relevant artists. Satriani and SRV, whatever you think of them, don't really belong on something like this.

I think including artists who don't actually play guitar is fine. It's good to be progressive, I think. But, I mean, it's SPIN, it's their committee opinion, nothing to get upset about. It's not like anyone should take a "top 100 guitarists" list seriously anyway.

Nice to see Paul Saulnier mentioned, there aren't enough people who listen to PS I Love You in the world.

I play an avri jazzmaster. Lots of punk and rock, really fuzzy stuff and chorus/delay (which is kinda why I like the brighter strings). Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try them out. :)

They put a negative spin on it because it's a terrible idea. Suggesting that foreign labor is somehow less valuable not only suggests that foreign people are less than but, it creates a weaker economy. We want people to shop, And Canada prides itself on being a multicultural country. Not only is this law dated and xenophobic, it goes against our ethos as a country.

Canadians don't want this, and Alberta has been given too many exceptions already. It's not a good thing ethically, or morally, and I can't really understand how anyone can agree with creating a larger economic disparity between the haves and have-nots.

Justifying awkward sentence structure by arguing it's grammatically correct is dumb, though.

That's just terrible grammar. It should be "At the party, we saw Stalin, Hitler, and two strippers." A comma is easily overlooked by a reader and shouldn't be used to fix awkward language or presentation.
