Well said. I'm 34 and this campaign was the most energized campaign that I can remember. It has also left me far more informed about the political process and has helped to further shape my libertarian political views. For that, I am truly grateful to Ron Paul and to all of us who have helped to spread his message of liberty.

However, over the past few days, I've submitted several Ron Paul articles to /r/libertarian and they've met with down votes and/or disinterest which I find disheartening. What I think a lot of people are failing to realize is that the r3VOLution is not about one individual. It's a movement. Ron Paul was and is a figure in that movement, and an important one at that, but he is not the movement. It is up to all of us to continue to fight for liberty and to keep those issues in the limelight that the good doctor has fought to gain attention for over the past 40 years. Whether a miracle happens and he is nominated for President or not, the fight will and must carry on. If not Paul this year, then it is 4 more years for all of us to continue growing, learning, and finding another candidate who can take up the torch of this movement and run for the Presidency.

Somebody that I follow on Twitter posted a great tweet the other day that I'd like to share: "How can Ron Paul supporters keep the freedom movement going? Run for and win a state political office. Be a flock of freaken RPs."

The only addition that I would make to that tweet is to run and win local political office as well and become a part of your county's GOP committee so that you can help shape the party locally.
