Jennifer Granholm changes her mind on gay marriage by diggroin Michigan

[–]DougDante 0 points1 point ago

"Granholm said she spent five hours a day making calls to raise money" ("Granholm: U.S. can learn lessons from Michigan's experience", Detroit News, September 19, 2011)

One thing she didn't seem to concerned with while raising all that cash was protecting children from crooks, some of whom likely worked for her.

An advocacy group sued the state and won big, and given the repeated frustrations of a federal judge, she still didn't fix it. That judge was about to throw the book at Michigan until her term ended and Snyder fixed her mess. ( "Michigan's foster care reforms appear back on track", July 19, 2011, Detroit Free Press )

Don't bother to look up the laundry list of abused and murdered children under her administration. It's heartbreaking.

And as a former Michigan Attorney General and a sitting Governor, I wonder how much she was aware of ongoing evidence of illicit and potentially criminal activities at the Michigan Friend of the Court.

Petition: Kalamazoo Public Safety Department: I want justice for my disabled father. | Change.org by funnyfacekingin MensRights

I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.

This man appears to be a victim of domestic violence (MCL 400.1501) and vulnerable adult abuse (MCL 750.145n). To me, the proper course of action for these authorities should have been to seek a personal protection order to protect the victim.

If I were the man here, I would seek police protection. I would start with the Michigan State Police, and explain that I want them to handle this, given the failure of local authorities to act to protect me from my abuser.

Also, this agencies is likely receiving federal funds. It is possible that they are intentionally denying this victim access to services based on gender. Crimes involved could include conspiracy, and honest services fraud (18 U.S.C. Chapter 63 - several sections), Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law (18USC § 242), Conspiracy Against Rights (18 USC §241), and discrimination based on gender in government services funded by federal tax-dollars which may be a federal felonies under both 42 U.S.C. § 3789d(c)(1) and 18 USC § 241.

Also, if the facts are correct, the government employees involved may be subject to personal legal liability due to gross negligence (MCL 691.1407), and if I were the man, I would seek the advice of a civil lawyer also.

I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.

These agencies are almost certainly receiving federal funds under 42 USC § 629.

Possible crimes include wire fraud, mail fraud, conspiracy, and honest services fraud (18 U.S.C. Chapter 63 - several sections), Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law (18USC § 242), and they may be attempting to tamper with witnesses (18 USC §1512), destroy or alter evidence (18 USC § 1506), retaliate against witnesses (18 USC § 1513), or otherwise to obstruct justice, this could be considered a Conspiracy Against Rights (18 USC §241), and discrimination based on gender in government services funded by federal taxdollars may be a federal felonies under both 42 U.S.C. § 3789d(c)(1) and 18 USC § 241.

These fathers will NEVER get their children back, termination of parental rights has been called the civil equivalent of the death penalty, and parenting is a long recognized fundamental liberty interest.

These criminals should rot in jail. The question is, will anyone enforce the law?

N.O.W. campaigns against House VAWA H.R. 4970, which allows shelters for men and has anti-discrimination provisions, ironically calling it "Exclusionary". by DougDantein MensRights

Here is an "exclusionary" nondiscrimination clause that HR 4970 would add to VAWA:

" ‘(A) NONDISCRIMINATION- No person in any State shall on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, sex, or disability be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under, any program or activity funded in whole or in part with funds made available under the Violence Against Women Act of 1994 (title IV of Public Law 103-322; 108 Stat. 1902), the Violence Against Women Act of 2000 (division B of Public Law 106-386; 114 Stat. 1491), the Violence Against Women and Department of Justice Reauthorization Act of 2005 (title IX of Public Law 109-162; 119 Stat. 3080), the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2012, or any other program or activity funded in whole or in part with funds appropriated for grants, cooperative agreements, and other assistance administered by the Office on Violence Against Women."

Sex discrimination in VAWA funded programs is rampant, NOW knows it, and they want to keep it that way.

go rent a storage unit. put her stuff into it. mail her the key via certified mail. if she owes you for past rent, send her a bill. when she refuses to pay, take her to small claims court. charge her up to the day her stuff was removed, plus for the storage locker (given that it's less than her portion of the rent, it's a bargain).

I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.

If i were you, I would consider paying regularly on my child support, and filing for custody of my child.

Be wary of possible extra enforcement as a form of harassment.

A lawyer is not supposed to be required, but often is in practice.
