Thanks man that's some great info. I'm from the midwest so most of the trout fishing I've done has been in streams.

What type of setup do use when going after salmon?

What's your favorite place for trout?

Don't worry, it took me a few minutes before I saw it too.

The one thing that I thought of after I posted this, is the fact that tobacco is far more addictive than cannabis. You probably wouldn't see many people smoking 1-2 packs worth of joints a day. If I had the time, motivation, and know how I'd love to do a comparison between the two.

Not to mention that the DEA et al have essentially become part of the military-industrial complex. Granted they'd still have a lot of work to do with all of the other narcotics but the war on drugs has created so many cottage industries that I don't think any politician would want to disrupt that.

I think that the tobacco industry would be more likely to capitalize on legalization that pharma. They already have the land, agronomists, marketing, supply chains, etc in place and even if marijuana prices fell off a cliff after legalization, I would bet that it would still be more profitable than tobacco.

I, for one, do not like this. I don't mind layout changes and the like but this feels like advertising in my news feed. I really couldn't care less if Kim Kardashian was photoshopped in this week's issue of Cosmo.

Maybe /r/folk or /r/blues ? Seems like there would be a lot of crossover.

Huzzah! If memory serves there were only like 10 or 11 subscribers before the helpful fella at r/bluegrass directed us here.

No shit that's awesome. I actually ran across someone claiming to be the former singer commenting on SHT videos and he definitely sounded insane.

[IIL] The Avett Brothers, Band Of Horses, Mumford And Sons, Modest Mouse, [WEWIL?] by zielkein ifyoulikeblank

[–]DaaraJ 3 points4 points ago

I'm much more familiar with Avett Bros than the rest, so based on that this is who I'd recommend:

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

J.J. Cale

Wilco

Jolie Holland

The Wood Brothers

Leo Kottke & Mike Gordon

Xavier Rudd

Finally, do yourself a huge favor and check out NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts. It is an amazing collection of short live sets by some fantastic bands, and how I found out about the Avett Brothers. As a bonus, you can download the audio of just about every concert they have up there. My most recent discovery from Tiny Desk is Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes.

I've been living in San Francisco for the last couple of years and got really excited when the article said there was a restaurant here that makes St. Louis style pizza. Then I looked at said restaurant's menu and found they don't use provel. Dreams dashed.
