considering the extreme changes humans have done and the technology marvels we have discovered in just 150 years alone, I doubt the ice age will be a problem in 50,000 years. Not that I have a clue, but there will be some sort of ingenues solution to it. Just like everything else in life.

luckily, my mom went overboard with the lies and now 2 of her sisters (my aunts) wont even talk to her anymore, so I guess I have 2 people to count on.

It just sucks, sometimes I wish I had parents that cared what time I stayed out at night, and maybe check up on me once in a while you know? It's that kind of shit thats gonna haunt me in my 30's. It's not fun, having parents that sorta kinda want you to go away forever.

I decided to buy my fucked up mom a pack of cigerattes in exchange for living in her house again. I never received the money, and the entire family hates me because my mother is a wizard at gossip and lies.

My grandma gave my mom a restraining order notice to fill out against me because apparently I beat her up and caused her emotional pain?

Oh well, my mom just made it that much easier to never talk to her again once I'm in college.

not time exactly, more technically speaking its memory decay. The longer time passes, the harder it is to remember something. So in a way, yes, time (memory loss) heals all wounds... but only because you can't remember them.

The only other option is to rewire your brain to think how much better off you'll be, and therefore become a happier person. It's much more difficult to do and requires practice, but has worked for me a few times. Not a guarantee though.

It's an interesting phenomena for sure, I can feel it affect even me sometimes. Like, I'm about to buy a cheap 99c app and I hesitate.

I bet Apple and the Android market are investigating those exact reasons right now to exploit the customer into being less hesitant and buy more apps

It's the mentality that once you electronically pay for the app, it's gone forever, wherein if you just bought a movie ticket and wanted a refund before the movie started, you could actually get your money back.

I completely agree with you, but it does scare a majority of people that once a portion of their electronic money is gone, they can't really talk to anyone to get it back, or that it will take time to get back a refund. And there's also the risk that the app is complete shit, disregarding the reviews.

At least that's why I think people are scared to purchase 99c apps.
