Old Boy or Sympathy for Lady Vengeance. The entire Vengeance Trilogy is pretty messed up and riveting. Not as "Gee Golly, go get the Bad Guy!" as Ocean's Thirteen, but much much darker.

Looking for some good 80's movies. by brisketxin MovieSuggestions
I grew up in the 80's, so these were the movies I identified with.
Gleaming te Cube (1989). Skateboarding vs. The Mob
Rad (1986). BMX in it's glory day with the typical 80's plot line
The Dark Crystal (1982). Jim Henson's all Puppet epic
The Legend of Billie Jean (1985). A girl wrongly accused becomes vigilante teen celebrity
The Monster Squad (1987). Kids vs. Monsters

Limitless. The film could have been about anything, but Neil Burger does an amazing job giving the film his own style. I believe it's also his first movie...

I've totally fallen over myself in love with Downton Abbey. The first season is available streaming on Netflix and the second season is available on PBS.com. It's remarkably well done and creates superb drama through depicting the turn of the century class system in England.

Strange that I never realized watching this while younger that he sort of ends up sleeping with everyone's girlfriend/wife/some romantic interest in nearly every episode. Kind of a strange moral compass...
Looks like I'm booked for the next 17 hours.

Tell me your scary stories. Reality or fiction, break ins or unexplained activity. I want to be scared. by allthatsparklesin AskReddit

I suffered from sleep paralysis as a child, episodic attacks coupled with night terrors. I know what the "shadow people" look like when you first recover from the paralysis, even though it was until years later that anyone diagnosed what I had. During the attack I wasn't in a half dream/waking state, I wasn't conscious and unable to move, I was entirely functional and under my own control. I stopped looking for real explanations years ago. Thanks though, I realize that the majority of cases for circumstances like these do play back to mental tricks and issues of the brain coming out of a sleeping state and misfiring.
